The Cancun and Riviera Maya areas in Mexico abound with beautiful soft sandy beaches with turquoise crystal clear water and a tropical climate all year round.
Over the last decade this region has grown in popularity and has become a paradise for divers and water sports lovers.
Besides the ancient Mayan temples, tropical lagoons, mangrove and amazing cenotes attractions for tourists, Cancun has innovated on a new project.
In 2009, while the Mexican government started the beach restoration project along the Cancun Hotel Zone area, a small group of people created the largest exhibition of underwater sculptures (Underwater Museum). Located within the National Park of Cancun, near Isla Mujeres, this new attraction includes more than 500 life-size figurative sculptures beneath the sea. Each of the sculptures is made with specialized materials used to promote coral life. Since then, the museum’s divers have taken amazing pictures of the sculptures. The colors are just splendid!

In the Xensatorium you will pass through different types of habitat, from the desert to the jungle, passing through the coast, swamps and cold climates. Already coming out of the tunnel you can see lights in the distance which will take you through caverns with background music. After going through the caves you arrive at the waterfall of the macaws that is a spectacle in itself.
The following tour is the one in El Pueblito; A challenge for the brain because this town has all its legs up in some places and you do not know if you are going up or down. With signs on the facades of the doors that are worth reading and some doors that give way to places that defy gravity.
From the little town you go to the slide, where you refresh and lightning you reach the next stage of the journey.
The bird flight, suspended belly down a zip line style systems, the flight of the bird is a journey of about 40 seconds where if you open your arms you will feel like a bird.
From there you get to the riolajante, where as you say, you are floating through grottos with the current. The next river is mud or lodorama, floats and again let yourself go, pay attention to the sounds you hear during the tour. When finished, give yourself a bucket of water to rinse the body and awaken the senses, note how soft your skin will be!
In the snack area you will find delicious sandwiches, drinks and an area for children to continue burning energy while taking a well-deserved rest after living so many emotions.
It is not recommended to carry a bottle of water as you will find water fountains throughout the park and there’s even a tree that gives lemonades!
